# How do I add my own video?

Read these articles first:  
**What you need to know before building a course**  
**Create a new series**  
**Fill a series with content**

Upload your own video as follows.

-   Go to [**console.wizzflix.com**](https://console.wizzflix.com/) and log in with your manager account
-   Go to **menu**
-   Choose **Series**
-   Go to the **content** tab
-   Click the **\+ item** button under a page item
-   Choose a **visual element** as item type
-   Click on the **video icon**
-   **Choose** the **file** you want to add
-   **Add text** if necessary
-   Optionally **add** a **thumbnail**
-   **Add subtitles** if needed
-   **Save** the series by going to another tab

\*You can only upload your own video in a series that is not yet active. In addition, it must be an .MP4 file.
