What you need to know about norm group and median?

If you build a series and are familiar with the Console, you will no doubt have come across the ‘Norm Group’.
In this article, you will find out what its function is.

What score is the participant allowed to achieve to complete the series?
Norm groups determine how many points a participant needs to successfully complete a series. This ensures that series can be judged fairly for different target groups. For example, you can set that a series is completed at a score of 5.5 or higher, while another series requires a higher score to pass.

As low as possible: The participant must always be able to complete the series
The score to pass is never zero. If we want a user to always pass the series, we cannot set it this way. However, we can make the score to pass as low as possible. We do this by setting the median and standard deviation as low as possible.

Default settings: The participant must score a 5.5 or higher to complete the series
